Sword of the Penmaiden is back on the internet and better than ever! Thanks to the designing skills and incredible help from Grace A. Johnson (who you should totally check out, by the way ;P), along with a custom-made logo from Kads (also check her out - she rocks!), I am finally happy with my website.
So! Let me show you around real fast as you adjust to the new site.
The menu is mostly the same as the Wordpress site. You'll notice that most of my WIPs are missing and the Fun Stuff part is a little under-filled - but don't worry! I'm working on more content for both of those places.
My homepage is completely different from what it used to be. Not only does it sport that fantabulous logo, but there are a few buttons you may not be familiar with! If you click that "continue the adventure" button under the first box, it will take you to a personalized short story that helps you figure out your way around the blog, telling you about the menu in order through a series of "rooms". Confused yet? XD It may be best if you just try it out and you'll see what I mean. ;)
The posting schedule will be the same as on the Wordpress site - twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays. Saturdays will be short stories again. I will continue to do tags, though, but on Mondays. I'm not just writing about writing anymore, either! I've got posts planned that talk about my works-in-progress, what I'm learning in my walk with God, MBTI stuff I get to nerd out about :P, and all sorts of other random things based off of the results I got from a survey I sent out to my newsletter subscribers. (See! I listen to you guys! XD)
This will definitely be a learning curve for me as I go through the process of changing from Wordpress to Wix, so bear with me. We can laugh over my goof-ups together! :P
